ELKHART — Larry D. Estep, 78, of Elkhart, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11, at Elkhart General Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born in Elkhart on April 12, 1936, to the late William and Naomi Estep.
Surviving are his children Kip (Laura) Marshall and Debra (Michael) Grinnell, both of Elkhart; his brother Carl (Evelyn) Estep of Elkhart; best friend Iva Reames; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was a grandson, Ryan Marshall.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, Larry will be cremated and inurned during a 2:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, graveside military service at Prairie Street Cemetery Veteran’s Towers, conducted by Billings Funeral Home in Elkhart, the U.S. Air Force Funeral Honor Guard and the Goshen Funeral Honor Guard.
Larry was a brake press operator who was last employed at Flex-Co in Elkhart. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family and his cocker spaniel, Buddy. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
