SONOMA, Calif. — Patricia Ann Baskerville (Collins), 74, was surrounded by her three children as she passed peacefully July 31, in Sonoma, where she currently resided.
She was born May 29, 1940, to Ralph and Winifred Collins in Mishawaka, Ind.
Patricia is survived by her children, Stephen Baskerville (Paul) of San Francisco, Randal Baskerville (Jo Ellen) of Syracuse, Ind., and Brenda Baskerville of Glen Ellen; her grandchildren, Mark (Chelsea), Rachel (Adrian), Ben and Devon; and great-grandchildren Sophie and Levi.
Her husband, Joel, and granddaughter Lucy preceded her in death.
Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, family member and friend to all she met. Patricia was a kind, humble, funny and sweet woman. She was also an avid Notre Dame fan.
She was a longtime resident of Elkhart, Ind., and spent a fun-filled 20 plus years with her husband, Joel, in Fort Myers Beach, Fla., where she continued to enjoy life to the fullest with family and friends. Patricia spent the last 3½ years in California continuing to enjoy family, and kept her wonderful sense of humor until the end. One of her last sentences was, "I'm rounding third and heading for home." Patricia was loved by all she met.
Patricia was one of the original volunteers for LoveWay Inc., a therapeutic horseback riding program.
