WABASH — Elizabeth G. "E.B." Cosgrove, 88, of Wabash, died at 8:01 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Wellbrooke of Wabash.
She was born April 7, 1926, in Elkhart to Mikel and Julia (Quarandillo) Campanello.
E.B. was a 1944 graduate of Elkhart High School.
She first married Oliver Kline in Huntington on Feb. 14, 1947. He died April 13, 1949.
She then married Roderick Cosgrove in Elkhart on July 22, 1950. He died May 22, 1995.
E.B. worked 20 years in the meat department at Clark's Finer Foods in Wabash. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and the Rosary Society. She enjoyed playing golf, knitting, cross stitching and especially her great-grandson Mikel Joseph Knight. She grew up in Elkhart and moved to Wabash in 1953.
She is survived by two children, Linda Bozell of Wabash and Mark Cosgrove of Bradenton, Fla.; stepson Steven (Von) McLeod of St. Augustine, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Jason C. Bozell and Shana Lyn (Joseph) Knight and great-grandson Mikel Joseph Knight, all of Wabash.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Gregory Campanello, Guy Campanello and Stephen Campanello; and sister Angela Billmeyer.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 188 W. Sinclair St., Wabash, with Father Tim Wrozek and Father Sextus Don officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery in Wabash. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash, with a rosary service at 7 p.m.
