BREMEN — Joseph W. Long, 41, of Bremen, died at 4:05 p.m. Thursday, June 5, in his residence after a short illness.
He was born Dec. 7, 1972, in Bremen, to Terry and Frances (Cox) Long.
On July 20, 1996, he married Beth Enochs at her grandfather’s home in Bremen.
Mr. Long was a lifetime resident of Bremen. He was a graduate of LaVille High School and a member of Bremen United Pentecostal Church of Acts 4:12. Joseph enjoyed turtles and mushroom hunting.
Surviving are his wife, Beth; son Job Long and daughter Zatha Long, both at home; father Terry (Theresa) Long of Plymouth; mother Frances Cox of Lake of the Woods; brother David Thompson of Lake of the Woods; and sisters Charlie (Clint) Alsman of Goshen, Whitney Bope of LaPaz, Grady Bope of Lakeville and Holly of Fort Wayne.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 9, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, followed by funeral services at 7 p.m. Pastor John Bollinger will officiate. Inurnment will be in Bremen Cemetery at a later date.
