BOURBONNAIS, Ill. — Janelle R. (Zurcher) Fosnaugh, 52, went to her heavenly home Monday, March 31.

Born in Krugersdorp, South Africa, she was the daughter of missionaries the Rev. Norman and Carol Zurcher.

Janelle earned her bachelor’s degree from Olivet Nazarene University.

Janelle was a woman of God. She loved to worship the Lord and share his love with others. Her passion for the Lord led her and her husband to serve the Lord as missionaries for 18 years in the Navajo nation in Arizona, in Papua New Guinea, in the Philippines and in Haiti. She served alongside her husband, Lane, who pastored at Elkhart (Ind.) Northside Church of the Nazarene and is currently serving at South Lake Church of the Nazarene in Crown Point, Ind.

Janelle was extensively involved in women's ministries and was instrumental in starting a women's radio ministry in Papua New Guinea.

Surviving are her loving husband of 30 years, Lane Fosnaugh, and daughters Joy, Laura and Sarah Fosnaugh of Bourbonnais; mother Carol Zurcher of Huntington, Ind.; siblings Kay (Richard) Gargiulo of Huntington and Bob (Deb) Zurcher of Roswell, Ga.; father-in-law Robert (Sharon) Fosnaugh of Fort Wayne, Ind.; sister-in-law DeLana (Ken) Millington of Fort Wayne; nephews Robert (Danielle) Gargiulo, Matthew (Rachel) Gargiulo, John Gargiulo, Jarrod (Katie) Zurcher and Brent Zurcher; niece Heather Millington; and great-niece Charlotte Gargiulo.

Janelle is now worshipping in heaven with her father, Norman Zurcher, niece Hope Millington and great-nephew Levi Gargiulo.

Calling will be from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 4, at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, 8611 Mayhew Road, Fort Wayne. A service celebrating her life will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at the church with calling for an hour prior. Dr. Lenny Wisehart and the Rev. Brady Wisehart will be officiating the service. Burial will follow the service in Lancaster Cemetery in Huntington County, Ind.

Memorials may be made to the Fosnaugh Children's Education Fund or Melanesia Field Radio Fund. To sign the online guest book visit www.domccombandsons.com.
