ELKHART —Vivian “Tracy” M. Ratliff, 77, of Elkhart, passed away at 12:27 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, at Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born June 28, 1938, in Elkhart, to Harry and Gladys (Miller) Metzger.

On Nov. 27, 1962, she married Dick L. Ratliff.

She is survived by her husband; two stepchildren; two stepgrandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Louise (Mervin) Miller and Norma Nead, both of Goshen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, two brothers and two brothers-in-law.

She was a waitress, cook and caregiver to the elderly. She was a very caring and giving person. She had a special relationship with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Highland Baptist Church, Elkhart.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at Reith-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen, and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. service Monday, March 3, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Yellow Creek Cemetery.
