GOSHEN — Harry E. Miller, 91, of Goshen, died at 12:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at Maples at Waterford Crossing, Goshen.
He was born April 8, 1922, in Sawyer County, Wis., to Eli and Elizabeth (Miller) Miller.
On Nov. 28, 1946, in LaGrange County, he married Ida Weirich. She died Feb. 19, 2004.
Surviving are three daughters, Frieda Borntrager of Middlebury, Norma (Wayne) Schrock of Millersburg and Marilyn (Homer) Miller of Goshen; son Floyd (Linda) Miller of Middlebury; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Anna Miller, Fannie and Mattie Gingerich and Joe and Ezra Miller; and son-in-law Ervin J. Borntrager.
He was a charter member of Woodlawn Amish Mennonite Church, a woodworker and a retired carpenter.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at Woodlawn Amish Mennonite Church, 62861 C.R. 41 Goshen. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, also at the church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorials may be given to World Missionary Press or Galilean Children’s Home.
