ELKHART — Jack Willard Bellaire Sr., 71, went home to be with his Lord and Savior at 5:10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013.

He was born Jan. 16, 1942, in Elkhart, and was married to the late Marilyn Sue Hackler Bellaire.

Jack was a member of First Baptist Church of Mishawaka, where he was active in AWANA for more than 40 years and volunteered in Sunday school. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include two sons, Jack Bellaire Jr. and his wife Tina of Lyman, S.C., and Mark Bellaire of Easley, S.C.; and two grandchildren, Caleb and Jackson of Lyman.

He was predeceased by his parents, Elmer D. and Elsie M. Bellaire; and two brothers, Max and Richard Bellaire.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at First Baptist Church of Mishawaka. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at Bubb Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery in Elkhart.
