Dec. 16, 1949 - July 9, 2013

DESTIN, Fla. — M. Taylor Grubb, 63, formerly of Elkhart, Ind., died July 9, 2013.

He was born Dec. 16, 1949, in Elkhart to the late Robert T. and Marilyn (Darr) Grubb.

Taylor is survived by his son, Jonathan Matthew (Sarah) of Union Grove, Wis., and his daughter, Jennifer Leigh of Hightstown, N.J. Also surviving are two brothers, M. Todd of North Webster, Ind., and M. Thomas (Beth) of Elkhart, and one sister, Tracy J. (Matthew) Brennan of Mishawaka, Ind.

Taylor graduated from Elkhart High School and served in the U.S. Army. He was a Vietnam veteran before making his career in cable television construction.

His one wish was to move to the warm weather so that “another drop of snow would never fall on his shoulders.” He made it. He died in his home in Destin.

His brothers, Todd and Tom would like to welcome friends and family to a celebration of Taylor’s life Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, from 1 to 4 p.m. at High Dive Park Pavilion, 500 E. Beardsley Ave., Elkhart. Beer and food will be served. Very casual dress is requested, as Taylor would want it.
