BRADENTON, Fla. — Frances Shoup Miller, 77, formerly of Elkhart County, Ind., died Aug. 9, 2013, after a short illness.

She was born March 12, 1936, to Harley and Mildred (Meyers) Shoup in Elkhart County.

She married Russell Miller on Jan. 16, 1955, at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Goshen, Ind.

He survives along with two daughters, Debrah Hansen of Elkhart, Ind., and Kathy Foley of Ellenton; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and a sister, Dorothy Vance of Elkhart.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Zadie Young; and two brothers, George and her twin, Franklin Shoup.

Mrs. Miller was a full-time homemaker. She and her husband moved to Florida in 2003.

She will be buried in Sarasota National Cemetery at a later date.
