SEBRING, Fla. — Charles “Chuck” Edwards Morris, 72, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring, Fla.

Chuck was born in Chicago on March 11, 1941. Shortly after, his family moved to Elkhart, Ind., where he attended school and later met his wife, Linda Sue (Crout) Morris.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Edward Morris and Pearl Lucille (Yeager) Morris; a brother, George Clayton Morris; and a son, Scott Allen Morris.

He is survived by his wife; two children, Christina Lynn (Morris) Wagner and Scott Edward Morris; three grandchildren, Tony (Layla) Wagner, Lindsay Wagner and Tyler Wagner; two great-grandchildren, Madison and Zaelynn, with two more on the way; and a sister, Nancy (Morris) Shreiner.

Chuck spent many years working in manufacturing and maintenance in Elkhart, before moving to Sebring after his retirement. He was also employed part time at Disney World until last year. At the time of his passing, he was a resident of Tanglewood Resort in Sebring, where he was a volunteer on many committees.

A memorial service will be at Corey Lake Church of the Nazarene in Jones, Mich., Saturday, Aug. 17. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. and the service will be at 11 a.m.
