WOLCOTTVILLE — Miriam Arlene Dallas, 90, of Wolcottville, died Saturday, July 20, at Miller’s Merry Manor, LaGrange.

She was born Aug. 15, 1922, in Ligonier.

On July 17, 1948, she married Iris “Ike” Dallas in Kendallville. He survives in Wolcottville.

Arlene retired from the dietary department at LaGrange County Hospital. She was a member of Rome City United Methodist Church.

She loved to watch birds and enjoyed wearing her jewelry. She was a wonderful homemaker, wife, grandmother and friend.

Survivors include a daughter, Elaine Lambright of LaGrange; grandchildren Shawn (Nicole) Gonser of Wolcottville, Heather (fiancé Mark Shaver) Neiman of Rome City, Brandon (Audra) Lambright of LaGrange and Koledon Lambright of Muncie; and great-grandchildren Caitlyn and Cristyn Gonser, Hannah Lewis and Abigail and Aidon Lambright.

A sister, Hilda Hursey, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, funeral service at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorial may be contributed to Rome City United Methodist Church.
