Dorothy was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family. She liked music and loved to sing along to her favorite country and gospel tunes. She also had a wonderful sense of humor and was overheard at her 90th birthday party saying, “I may not sing well, but I can sing loud!” She will be best remembered, however, as being a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan; forever hopeful that “next year” would bring a World Series title. Dorothy’s family has requested that those attending her funeral wear their favorite Cubs T-shirt, jersey or hat in her honor.
