GOSHEN — Ella Troyer, 91, of Goshen, died at 2:40 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013, at her residence after a brief illness.

She was born Sept. 6, 1921, in Middlebury, to Joseph and Katie Ann (Kauffman) Riegsecker. On Dec. 8, 1940, she married Atlee S. Troyer. He died May 5, 1991.

Surviving are her children Glenna (Glen) Bontrager and Marilyn (Lester) Miller, both of Goshen, Ada (Freeman M.) Lambright of Topeka, Kathryn (Paul) Hochstetler of Goshen and Duane (Jeanne) Troyer of Goshen; 21 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; sisters Gladys (Lester) Miller of Shipshewana, Lucy Bontrager of Goshen and Mary Riegsecker of Middlebury; and brothers Vernon Riegsecker of Goshen and Glen (Esther) Riegsecker of Middlebury.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Riegsecker, and one granddaughter.

Visitation is all day Saturday, July 13, at the family’s residence, 14169 C.R. 30, Goshen. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 14, also at the family’s residence. Bishop Glen Nisley and home ministers will preside. Burial will be in Thomas Cemetery, Goshen.
