Dennis L. Kauffman Sr.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Dennis L. Kauffman Sr., 69, passed away March 29, 2013, in Jacksonville.

He was born in Elkhart, Ind., on Feb. 8, 1944.

Dennis proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

After his service he moved from the Elkhart area to Florida where he settled in Daytona Beach and worked as a pressman for the Daytona News Journal. Later in his career he became a successful salesman in the printing industry.

Dennis was a devout Christian. He also loved to work with his hands, and he enjoyed building and flying model airplanes.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Robin Kauffman; five sons, the Rev. William (Gina) Nieporte, Christopher (Theresa) Kauffman, Robert Kauffman, David (Wendy) Kauffman and Dennis Kauffman Jr.; a sister, Judy Robinson of Nappanee, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and three nieces.

A memorial service was April 3, 2013, in Florida.
