GOSHEN — Levi Lee Schmucker, 73, of Goshen, died at 6:20 a.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013, at home.

He was born Aug. 19, 1939, in Goshen to the late Levi D. and Susie (Hershberger) Schmucker. On June 19, 1958, in Goshen he married Viola Miller.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Betty (LeRoy) Troyer, Barb (Levi) Petersheim, Bertha (John) Stoltzfus and Ruby (Buddy) Beiler, all of Goshen, two sons, Wayne (Sharon) Schmucker of Nappanee and Marvin Schmucker at home; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; three great-stepgrandchildren; four brothers, brothers Ivan (Laura) Schmucker of Kingston, Wis., Rudy (Mary) Schmucker of West Union, Ohio, and Vernon (Edna) and Lloyd Schmucker, both of Goshen; sister Ida Mae Schmucker of Goshen; and sister-in-law Ida Schmucker of Shipshewana.

Two brothers LeRoy and Freeman Schmucker, preceded him in death.

He worked at Jayco, Middlebury, for 27 years and was known for having many friends. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2013, and all day Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at the family home. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013, also at the family home. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Goshen.
