MISHAWAKA — Daniel W. Landaw, 84, of Mishawaka, passed away at 11:45 a.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Michiana Health and Rehabilitation Center, Mishawaka.
He was born Dec. 21, 1928, to Daniel and Vivian (Yoder) Landaw. They preceded him in death.
He married the former Dolores A. Cart. She preceded him in death in 2008.
He is survived by seven children, Larry D. (Betty) Landaw and Debra S. (Jerry) Boocher, both of Elkhart; Michael E. (Barbara) Landaw, Donald G. (Donna) Landaw and Linda K. (Mike) Kazmirski, all of Mishawaka; John L. (Bev) Landaw of Rocklin, Calif.; and the Rev. Gary A. (Kristi) Landaw of Puerto Rico. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Molbash of Elkhart.
He was a plant manager at C.C. Kelley and Sons, where he worked for 50 years. Dan really enjoyed fishing in Canada and was known as “Dan the Walleye Man.” He attended Madison Township High School.
Friends were received Tuesday, March 19, 2013, and funeral services for Dan will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, all at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, with Pastor Jeff Truex and the Rev. Gary Landaw officiating. Burial will follow the Wednesday services in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.
