BRISTOL — Timothy J. Rodino, 60, of ADEC campus in Bristol, died Friday, March 15, 2013, at Elkhart General Hospital.

He was born Dec. 29, 1952, in Elkhart to Carmen and Regina (Koppy) Rodino.

Timothy never met a stranger. He loved his nieces and nephews and enjoyed his time spent with them. He participated in Special Olympics, collected baseball cards and was passionate about music. Timothy was a member of St. Vincent’s Catholic Church and United Commercial Travelers.

Tim recycled aluminum cans his entire adult life and donated his profits to Special Olympics. Tim was employed at Sears, Meijer, AI Industries and That Place Pizza and Deli.

Timothy is survived by his sisters, Susan (Robert) Harbart of New Carlisle, Anita (T.J.) Nunemaker of Elkhart, Cynthia Rodino of Elkhart and Joyce (Michael) Bashara of Buchanan, Mich.; brothers Thomas (Mary) Rodino of Bristol, Terry (Stacey) Rodino of Elkhart and Steve (Ann) Rodino of Fishers; a sister-in-law, Jean Rodino of Elkhart; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Cheshier of Tampa, Fla.; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Timothy was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Louis Rodino; a sister, Mary Cheshier; and a niece, Diedre Booth.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Hartzler Gutermuth Inman Funeral Home, with a wake service at 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, at St. Vincent’s Catholic Church. Father Glenn Kohrman will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Elkhart.
