WHITE PIGEON, Mich. — Leland L. Warren, 85, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at Heartland Health Care Center in Three Rivers following a short illness.

He was born June 21, 1927, in White Pigeon, to Albert and Esther (Quick) Warren. He married Doris June Kulp Aug. 7, 1948; she died May 23, 2000.

He was a lifelong farmer, employed in trailer manufacturing for Stewart Coach in Bristol, Ind., and for Squire Homes in Constantine for 30 years. He retired in 1977.

Leland was known for his antique cars and tractors.

Surviving are children Carolyn (Earl) Baldwin of White Pigeon, Kenneth (Barb) Warren, Daniel (Dian) Warren and Dallas Warren, all of Mottville; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; sisters Pauline Oxender of Howe, Ind., and Lois (Norman) Perris of Ashbey, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, David L. Warren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon, where services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013. Interment will be in White Pigeon Township Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to a charity of choice.
