ELKHART — Rosevelyn Wantz, 94, of Elkhart and formerly of Goshen, died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, at her daughter’s home.

She was born March, 11, 1918, to the late Louis and Leota (Green) Mougeotte in Goshen.

She married Willis Wantz on Feb. 1, 1940, in Goshen. He died Oct. 20, 1975.

She is survived by her children, Marsha (Ron) Schrock of Elkhart and Michael (Michelle) Wantz of Goshen; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Willis Wantz; sister Margaret Chattin; and brother Maurice Mougeotte.

Rosevelyn worked at Goshen Stamping and Tool in accounting and at Elco Title Corp. She also worked at Yoder, Ainley, Ulmer and Buckingham for 35 years until her retirement in 2000.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She was a 1936 graduate of Goshen High School.

Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen, with a rosary at 8 p.m. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial is in Violett Cemetery.
