WOLCOTTVILLE — Ira Miller, 67, of Wolcottville, passed away Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at Wyant Woods Care Center in Akron, Ohio.
He was born on Oct. 3, 1945, to William A. and Anna (Petershien) Miller in Topeka. On Aug. 15, 1965, he married Carol Bauman.
Ira was a truck driver and he had also worked as a dairy farmer and tour bus driver.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Miller of Wolcottville; a son, Ross A. (Lorena) Miller of Goshen; a daughter, Yolanda J. Pawlyshyn of Naples, Fla.; three grandchildren, Matthew, Brianna and Makayla; three sisters, Martha Miller of Goshen, Barbara (Allen) Sharick of Shipshewana and Dora (Larry) Zook of Wolcottville; and one brother, Edgar (Phyllis) Miller of White Pigeon, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ella Joan Miller.
A visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway S., Ligonier. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at New Life Fellowship, 2755 S.R. 5, Topeka. Pastor Larry Byrnes will officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
