MURPHYS, Calif. - Philip Lee Arnott, 70, died Monday, June 20, 2011, at his home in Murphys after a battle with brain cancer.
He was born in Nappanee, Ind., to Ralph L. and Vera Arnott on June 6, 1941. He graduated from Nappanee High School. He married Bonnie Cripe of Goshen, Ind.
He is survived by his wife, Teri (Sanders) Arnott; son Shane (Mary) Arnott and granddaughter Fallon of Stephensville, Mont.; son Jeff Arnott and granddaughters Abigale and Amanda Arnott of Jackson Hole, Wyo.; stepchildren Jill and Charlie Amstutz and stepgrandson Waylon Amstutz of Angels Camp. He is also survived by a brother, Jack (Kenlyn) Arnott of Syracuse, Ind.; nephew Greg (Kim) Arnott of McCordsville, Ind., and Rick (Becky) Arnott of Fishers, Ind.; three great-nieces; and two great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Vera Arnott, and his grandson, Connor Lee Arnott of Stevensville, Mont.
