VANDALIA, Mich. -- Scott Gregory Baldwin, 13, of 60969 Storey Road, Vandalia, died at 12:22 a.m. Monday (March 24, 2008) from injuries suffered in a house fire.
Scott was born Jan. 3, 1995, in Niles to Tammy Frady and Leonard M.C. Baldwin. He was a seventh-grader at Ross Beatty High School, Cassopolis.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Leonard M.C. Baldwin and Billie Jo Allen, both of Vandalia; his mother, Tammy Frady of Goshen; four sisters, Michelle R., Daisy A.M. and Aliyah P. Baldwin and Tyisha Allen; three brothers, Leonard M.C. Baldwin II and Kaiden and Ethan Johnson; paternal grandparents Jeanne (Brian) Hales of South Bend and Lonnie (Berta) Baldwin Sr. of Niles; and maternal grandmother Cynthia Foust of Mishawaka.
Friends may call one hour prior to Friday's 2 p.m. funeral service at Penn Friends Community Church, 19107 Quaker St., Cassopolis. The Rev. Michael Cheney of Niles will officiate. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Cassopolis. Connelly Funeral Home, 202 N. Broadway St., Cassopolis, is assisting with arrangements.
Scott attended Pleasant View Church of Christ, Cassopolis. He loved fishing, working on go-karts, riding his motorcycle and helping his father work on demolition derby cars.
