I&M added that power has been restored to 99 percent of its Indiana customers. That includes 99 percent of South Bend customers. Around 300 South Bend customers who still do not have power can expect to see it restored by 6 p.m. Saturday, July 5,, and the 2,300 customers in Benton Harbor, Mich., without power can expect to have service restored before midnight Saturday.
I&M had to replace a total of 197 poles, 81 transformers and 140 cross-arms in both South Bend and Michigan.
