Bye bye for now, nice weather.
Northern Indiana is expected to see heavy snow and high winds Tuesday night through Wednesday afternoon.
The National Weather Service said the area could see between five and nine inches of snow from midnight Tuesday, March 11, through 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 12. Heavy winds are expected to create blowing and drifting snow – these factors, combined with snow fall rates up to two inches per hour, could make driving conditions dangerous.
Strong winds could result in downed tree branches and possibly power outages Wednesday, the weather service said.
The weather service said to keep an emergency kit with a flashlight, food and water in your vehicle if driving is absolutely necessary.
