Elkhart County will see a little warmth before the next snowfall

Meteorologists are predicting warm weather at the beginning of the week before a winter storm brings more snow to the area.

Monday and Tuesday's warm temperatures, ranging in the mid to upper 40's, will be short lived as Wednesday looks to bring one to three inches of snowfall across the area.

The National Weather Service Northern Indiana reported Sunday that snowfall will begin late Tuesday evening and go into Wednesday morning. While most of Elkhart County is expected to see up to three inches, areas of Kosciusko County could see more than five inches of snowfall in the coming days.

It won't last long, though. Temperatures are expected to warm up again for the end of the week.
