MVP awards go to Tarrin Beachy, Jamar Weaver, Buchanan Carpenter, Nate Gerardot, Amber Roth, Jeannie Bontrager, Charlotte Jones, Katelyn Miller and Chanda Strong.

 It took 18 innings for No. 3 Lafayette Central Catholic to beat Westview 8-3 in the Class 2A Whiting Regional. It is one of the longest games in the Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association record book.

 Concord's Peyton Kime, shown in a match May 27, shot a 36 Tuesday, June 3, on the front nine at Bent Oak Golf Club and led the Minutemen to a season-best team score of 158 and wins against Fairfield and Westview.

NorthWood to battle Fairfield at 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 2 for Whitko Sectional championsihp

 Elkhart Memorial's Haley Stouder plays in the No. 1 doubles match during the Elkhart Central Sectional. She helped the Crimson Chargers edge Fairfield 3-2 on Tuesday, May 27, in the semifinals of the Elkhart Central Regional.

Chargers will play Angola in the Elkhart Central final while the Kingsmen will face South Bend St. Joseph in the LaPorte championship match. Both are slated for Wednesday, May 28.
