Penn High School's class of 2014 graduates

The group graduated Friday, June 6, in a commencement ceremony held on Notre Dame’s campus.

Penn High School’s class of 2014 graduated Friday, June 6. 

The commencement was held at 7 p.m. on Notre Dame’s campus. 

Sixteen valedictorians were honored in the ceremony: Alberte Eskildsen, Josie Gidman, Linda Gong, Kimberly Hochstedler, Kevin Kuo, Kevin Latimer, Eric Lee, Timothy Liu, Cameron Moore, Emily Song, Harisa Spahic, Ji-Yun Suh, Elena Sucharetza, Seungyup Sun, Wayne Zhang and Susan Zhu. Three salutatorians, Jessica Nelson, Richa Patel and Andy Wang, were also recognized.

Penn alumnus Rick Singleton, who graduated in 1974, spoke at the ceremony.

 Penn junior Jordan Geist (12) looks for a play as Concord senior Adam Glanders (20) defends. Geist, an Indiana Junior All-Star last summer, has transferred to Homestead in Fort Wayne for his senior season.
