Penn Academic Super Bowl teams place first in five areas

FORT WAYNE — Penn High School's six Academic Super Bowl teams won five of the six areas of competition at the Fort Wayne Dwenger Invitational on Wednesday night, March 19.

Penn won first place in social studies, math, science, fine arts and interdisciplinary, and was third in English.

Twelve schools from northeast Indiana competed. The topic of this year's Academic Super Bowl is "Westward Expansion, 1783-1900."

Up next for Indiana Academic Super Bowl teams are regional competitions on April 22. Penn will compete at the Mishawaka Regional.
