NorthWood band asks for recyclables to fund new uniforms

Students are collecting scrap metal, appliances, and more at NorthWood High School on May 2 and 3.

You can help NorthWood band students get new uniforms by simply recycling your old stuff. 

Bring scrap metal, copper wire, electrical cords, aluminum cans, lawn mower and car batteries, washers, dryers, other metal appliances, refrigerators, air conditioners and lawn mowers to NorthWood High School from 3:30 to 6 p.m. May 2 or 8 a.m. to noon May 3. 

The school won't be accepting TV's, computers, printers or other electronics. 

If you have large items you would like picked up contact Cheryl Avery at 862-4148.
