NorthWood salutes winter athletes

Eight students were recognized in six sports.

NAPPANEE — NorthWood High School has presented winter MVP sports awards to Garrett Griffin and Derek Weldy in wrestling, Nathan Nunemaker in boys swimming, Austin Conrad in boys diving, Morgan Olson and Jordyn Frantz in girls basketball, Jamie McBride in girls swimming and Sarah Wysong in cheerleading.

Boys basketball awards will be given at the close of its season.
