2014 show choir state championships: Starlights and Northern Lights shine

Northridge High School's show choirs, Starlights and Northern Lights, were named state champions at the ISSMA state championships. Fairfield High School earned fourth place spots.

Northridge High School's show choirs brought home the gold at the Indiana State School Music Association's state championship competition on Saturday, March 22.

Starlights, the school's women's show choir, and Northern Lights, the mixed group, earned the top spot for the small school division. They both also won best vocals.

Fairfield High School also sent two show choirs to the competition, which was held at Plainfield High School in Plainfield.

Expressions, the women's group, and Fusion, the mixed group, both earned fourth place in the small school division.
