 NorthWood, which won its third straight Northern Lakes Conference girls golf title (tying with Wawasee) and went 11-0 in dual matches, added its first-ever sectional title Saturday, Sept. 20, at Warsaw. The Panthers are: (from left, first row) Hope Cripe, Summer Stillson and Madison Richner; (second row) head coach Adam Yoder, Linnzie Richner, Rachel Beebe, Baillie Richner and Alaina Benjamin.

Panthers win the Warsaw Sectional by 12 shots; Fairfield also moving on to regional play.

Concord is part of three gatherings, including the altered NIC/NLC Shootout that also features Elkhart Memorial, Goshen, Marian, Northridge and Penn.

Mitch DeWitt, Zach Wagler scored two touchdowns each for Falcons. 

 The view from the Northwood High School press box shows lightning shooting across the sky Friday night after the game was delayed due to inclement weather. The game was later called and rescheduled for today at noon at Northwood.

All Elkhart County area football games were wiped out by severe storms Friday night.
