Bethel students who need to use the on-campus library can now do so with their phones.

The college has developed an app, available on Android and Apple phones, that lets students search library resources, request materials, and access e-books from their phone or tablet.

It's an effort to serve students who use their phone constantly, the college said in a statement.

"We want to meet students where they are at and the way to do that is to develop a mobile app," Mark Root, associate director of library services, said in the statement.

The app was developed by Kevin Blowers, an assistant librarian.
