Penn, NorthWood teams qualify for state contest

Students from Penn and NorthWood recently qualified for the state Academic Super Bowl contest.

Two area schools are headed to state in the Academic Super Bowl. 

Results from the regional contests were announced Wednesday, April 23. Penn and NorthWood both made the cut. 

Here's the breakdown of how the students placed at the regional level:

Penn — won first place in Social Studies Class 1, placed second in Science Class 1 and fourth in Math Class 1. 

NorthWood — won second place in Math Class 2, third in Fine Arts Class 2 and fourth in Science Class 2.
