Book fairs offer more than just great books

It's book fair season for some local elementary schools. What was the best book you got from a book fair growing up?

It's an event coveted by elementary school kids everywhere — it's book fair season.

Students at Mary Daly Elementary School and St. Thomas the Apostle are experiencing the joys that come with the Scholastic Book Fair this week.

Several other schools are also hosting book fairs in the coming weeks.

The book fair offers more than just books, posters and school accessories  — it offers plenty of memories that children will cherish for years to come.
