Fourteen teams compete at Warsaw Invitational for Academic Super Bowl

WARSAW — Penn High School earned the highest total score at this year's 28th annual Warsaw Invitational for Academic Super Bowl on Monday, March 3.

A total of 14 schools across Northern Indiana competed, including Bremen, Columbia City, Concord, Goshen, Jimtown, Mishawaka, NorthWood, Northridge, Penn, South Bend Clay, Wabash, Warsaw, Wawasee and Whitko.

Penn's teams won four of the six areas of competition. This year’s topic is "Westward Expansion: 1783-1900."

After scores from all six categories of competition were combined, the final fop five were:

3. Wawasee
4. Warsaw
5. Goshen.

The next major competition for area Academic Super Bowl teams is the Fort Wayne Dwenger Invitational on Wednesday, March 19.
