Jesse Bohannon: everything you need to know

The first-time candidate is running against two other republicans for the seat held by Rep. Tim Neese, who decided not to run for re-election.

Jesse Bohannon, a Republican from northwestern Elkhart County, is an instructor at The Crossing Educational Center, an alternative school for high school-aged kids. He’s pro-life, favors expansion of the state’s school voucher program and emphasizes his conservatism. He’s for low taxes, low regulation and worries about the federal government encroaching on state powers. This is his first bid for public office.
