Curt Nisly, as a foe of national Common Core standards, has keyed in on Kubacki’s 2012 vote against a measure to delay implementation of the guidelines and her vote against the same-sex marriage amendment in the 2014 session, which he favors. He says he’d better represent the values and concerns of District 22 and he’s particularly focused on assuring local control and limited government. He runs an Elkhart tech firm.
