Joe Bock, of South Bend, is a teaching professor at the University of Notre Dame. He has largely directed his campaign at Republican incumbent Jackie Walorski, saying a “pragmatic problem solver” is needed in the post, not “someone engaged in partisan bickering.” He served three terms in the Missouri House in the late 1980s and early 1990s and moved to South Bend in 2007.
