Dan Morrison is running against three other Democrats to get a spot on the November ballot for the 2nd District of the U.S. House of Representatives seat.

Morrison, of Elkhart, long worked in the recreational vehicle industry. He ran for the 2nd District U.S. House spot in 2012, losing in the Democratic primary to Brendan Mullen, and ran, unsuccessfully, for the District 48 seat in the Indiana House later that year. He cites President John Kennedy as an inspiration and touts equal pay for women, the need to diversify the local economy, job creation and the need for bipartisan cooperation.
