Bob Kern, a Democrat of Indianapolis, is a part-time paralegal. He’s run several times, unsuccessfully, for an Indianapolis-based seat in the U.S. House and says he’s running for the north-central Indiana 2nd District post, far from his home, “because God directed me.” He’d like to bring jobs to the district and describes himself as reachable and transparent.
