Bohannon gets two endorsements in Indiana House bid
ELKHART — Jesse Bohannon, candidate for the District 48 seat in the Indiana House, has picked up endorsements from two state lawmakers.
The endorsements come from Reps. David Wolkins of Warsaw and Bob Heaton of Terre Haute, both Republicans like Bohannon. They praised the candidate as a conservative.
"We definitely need more conservatives like Jesse Bohannon down at the statehouse," Wolkins said in a statement issued by Bohannon on Tuesday, April 8.
"I like him. Most importantly, he's a strong conservative, and that's why I'm supporting him," Heaton said in a statement.
Bohannon is one of three Republicans running for the District 48 post, which covers northwestern Elkhart County. Rep. Tim Neese, the incumbent, isn't seeking re-election.
