ELKHART — Indiana Rep. Tim Harman, a Republican lawmaker from Bremen, is endorsing Jesse Bohannon in his race for an Elkhart County-based seat in the Indiana House.

Harman touted Bohannon's conservative principles. More conservatives are needed in the Indiana legislature and "that’s why I am endorsing Jesse Bohannon," Harman said in a press release. "Jesse has the courage, the conviction and the passion to further the conservative cause by fighting for limited government, traditional values and the free-market system."

Bohannon is one of three Republicans vying for the District 48 seat in the Indiana House, to be vacated by Rep. Tim Neese, a GOPer who won't seek re-election. District 48 covers northwestern Elkhart County, including northern Elkhart.
