WARREN, Mich. (AP) — A woman who suffered seizures while her car was stalled out in chest-deep flood water did not die as reported earlier this week by officials in Warren.

The Detroit Free Press reports (http://on.freep.com/1pRN7ol ) Friday that a summary of the incident from the city’s fire department to Warren Mayor James Fouts says the 30-year-old woman improved on the way to a local hospital and was released. The newspaper obtained a copy of the summary.

Warren Fire Chief David Frederick had said bystanders pulled a Sterling Heights woman from her car Monday after seeing her suffer seizures. They carried her into a nearby business. She was unconscious when firefighters arrived and placed her in an emergency vehicle.

    Her name was not released.
