Police: Man found fatally shot in parking lot of Detroit splash park

DETROIT (AP) — Police say a man has been found fatally shot in the parking lot of a Detroit splash park.

The Detroit News and Detroit Free Press report officers arrived Friday morning to area around Palmer Park. Police say no weapon was found and the man was dead at the scene.

Police cars blocked the entrance to the park. The man’s identity wasn’t immediately known.
