INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Bloomington’s Upland Brewery has swept the top awards in the professional division of the Indiana State Fair Brewers’ Cup competition.

The fair announced Monday that Upland was named the Indiana brewery of the year and grand champion brewery of the year during the competition last weekend. It also won best of show for its “VinoSynth Red,” which also won the Belgian and French ale category.

The fair says more than 100 judges from across the country rated the beers in 24 different beer categories. Winning recipes and brewers will be represented at the Indiana Brewers’ Cup display during next month’s state fair.
