Man stabbed in the chest in South Bend, has non-life threatening injuries

    Police discovered the victim when they responded to a domestic disturbance around 1:30 p.m.

    A man was taken to the hospital after being stabbed in South Bend on Thursday afternoon, Aug. 14, according to our reporting partners at WNDU.

    Around 1:30 p.m., police were called to a domestic disturbance at 501 S. Alonzo Watson Drive. Upon arrival they discovered a man who was reportedly stabbed in the chest, WNDU reports.

    He was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

    Police are still seeking a suspect.
