A Goshen man was arrested after police caught him fleeing the scene of a domestic battery in a vehicle while intoxicated.
Goshen police were called to the 900 block of Beaver Lane around 11:44 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, for a report of a domestic battery, according to a police report.
When they arrived, they found 31-year-old Joseph Noyer leaving the scene in a pickup truck.
Noyer had a B.A.C. of .15 percent and was arrested on preliminary charges of domestic battery, criminal recklessness and operating while intoxicated.
As of Sunday afternoon, Aug. 10, Noyer was still being held at the Elkhart County Jail.
