ELKHART — FBI agents and Elkhart police arrested a woman Wednesday morning in connection with a 2013 Michigan bank robbery.

WSBT reports that the two agencies arrested Latona Gowdy around 7 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, in a parking lot at her place of employment in the 2000 block of Middlebury Street.

FBI Media Coordinator David Porter told WSBT that Gowdy was arrested for her participation in an armed robbery at G.W. Jones Exchange Bank in Edwardsburg on July 10, 2013.

Delvon Tolbert, who police believe was also involved in the robbery, was already in jail.

Tolbert was arrested in September 2013 after a three-hour standoff with police at Washington Gardens Apartments. He was wanted on a warrant at the time because he had been convicted of forgery in a trial which he had not shown up for.
